PL-Student Discipline Monthly Professional Development 2023-2024 @ Afternoon Session 2/22/2024 @ MTI

This course will provide professional learning for student services managers and assistant principals in all areas of student discipline, including updates pertaining to student discipline policy and practice for the 2023-2024 school year. Course content includes Code of Student Conduct revisions, the Discipline Manual, the suicide assessment, threat assessment, and MDT process, MTSS processes, IEP behavior services, 504’s with BIPs, behavior interventions, student discipline data, best practices for writing and submitting referrals, alternative placements, and expulsions, the progressive discipline matrix, student discipline vision and philosophy, and other topics pertaining to standard operating procedures for student discipline.
