Notes

Objectives for this component may include: a. Participants will develop an understanding of the rules and regulations regarding playground safety. b. Participants will develop skills to help identify hazards and inspect equipment on the playground to prevent injuries. c. Participants will learn how to make sure all play is age-appropriate but still make play a positive experience. d. Participants will understand how and why “Active Supervision” and “Standard of Care” is an integral part of safety. Completion = .5 training credit.
This is an extension session for employees who did not attend face-to-face sessions nor completed Canvas sessions. Extension Session 2.
