he New Teacher Academy (NTA) focuses on supporting novice and early career teachers as they develop skills to plan engaging, standards‑aligned instruction. Participants will learn to clarify benchmarks, plan intentional teacher and student actions, and use assessments to support student learning while collaborating within a supportive community and leaving each session with ready‑to‑use classroom strategies.

Notes

This course focuses on planning teacher and student actions during focused and guided phases of instruction. Participants will develop an understanding of the Gradual Release of Responsibility framework and learn strategies for maintaining student engagement. This course is intended for teachers with 5 or less years teaching experience. Must have a camera and microphone to participate.
