Description

he New Teacher Academy (NTA) focuses on supporting novice and early career teachers as they develop skills to plan engaging, standards‑aligned instruction. Participants will learn to clarify benchmarks, plan intentional teacher and student actions, and use assessments to support student learning while collaborating within a supportive community and leaving each session with ready‑to‑use classroom strategies.

This course focuses on strengthening instructional planning through the interpretation of benchmarks and alignment to curriculum resources. Participants will develop the ability to identify potential misconceptions and used standards-based planning to inform intention instructional decisions. This course is intended for teachers with 5 or less years of teaching experience. Must have a computer with camera and microphone to participate.
