PL-(EMS) School-Based Professional Learning Opportunities: 2026-2027 February Early Release: Mentoring and Accelerating Student Growth

Participants will engage in ongoing professional development throughout the 2026–2027 school year focused on enhancing instructional effectiveness and student achievement. Training sessions will emphasize collaboration, classroom management, and the strengthening of Tier 1 instruction. Participants will also receive support in the administration of state and district assessments, strategies to increase student engagement, and best practices for implementing effective small-group instruction.

Additionally, professional learning opportunities will include the analysis of classroom and schoolwide data to inform instructional decision-making, guidance for conducting productive teacher-parent conferences, and training on the implementation of the school's mentorship program designed to improve student outcomes and success. All professional development activities are directly aligned with the goals and priorities outlined in the 2026–2027 Emerald Shores Elementary School Improvement Plan.
