Educators will develop the use of explicit, systematic, and sequential approaches to reading instruction, developing phonemic awareness, and implementing multisensory intervention strategies, per the requirement of the State Rule 6A-4.0051. The Science of Reading is designed for educators who require reading renewal inservice credits to be earned and hold certification in any of the subjects listed below: •Elementary Education K-6 •Elementary Education 1-6 •Prekindergarten/Primary Education (PreK-Grade 3) •Primary Education (K - Grade 3) •English 1-6 •Middle Grades English 5-9 •English 6-12 •Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum 5-9 •Reading K-12 •Reading Endorsement •ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) K-12 •Exceptional Student Education K-12
