Full course description
Participants will deepen their understanding of strategies and techniques that promote student engagement, positive behavior, and productivity within the learning environment. Through practical, evidence-based approaches, educators will learn how to support students with special needs by fostering positive behavioral outcomes that enhance overall academic success.
In addition, participants will expand their knowledge of both classroom and assessment accommodations as outlined by the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS). This component of the course will equip educators with the tools necessary to provide meaningful access to curriculum and standards, ultimately supporting student growth and ensuring equitable learning opportunities.
Together, these integrated learning experiences prepare educators to create supportive, inclusive, and effective instructional environments that meet diverse student needs.
