As AI becomes a more significant part of our daily work in education, we need a clear plan to help educators use it effectively. AI can personalize learning, boost productivity, and prepare students and teachers for an AI-driven future. By working together, we’ll provide teachers with the tools, best practices, and ethical guidelines to use AI responsibly, making it a powerful resource for learning and growth across MCPS.

Notes
In Session 2, we’ll dive deeper into classroom-ready applications of AI using chapters 5–8 of the book. Teachers will explore how AI can support differentiation, feedback, assessment, and student engagement, while keeping learning goals at the center. This session emphasizes intentional, thoughtful use of AI to enhance instruction without replacing teacher expertise. Participants will leave with concrete strategies and ideas they can apply immediately in their classrooms.
