Notes
Elementary gifted teachers will participate in an online workshop presented by PBL Projects with presenter, Ben Bache. The session will cover new features of the website, how to best use the different types of resources and activities on the site to best support instruction, planning, and differentiation for gifted learners. This Professional Development will cover multiple strategies—PBL Scenarios, Critical/Creative Thinking Exercises,
STEM Challenges, Deductive Reasoning Tasks, and more—that focus on integrating Depth of Knowledge 3-4 skills (forming abstract connections and using content in the real-world) with DOK 1-2 instruction (facts and key concepts).
