PL-Mandatory Training Marion County Instructional Evaluation System (Invite Only - Instructional Extension Session) MCIES: 2025-2026

The purpose of this Self-Paced Canvas Mandatory Training course is to align to Florida Statutes 1012.34 Personnel Evaluation Procedures and Criteria to provide training for instructional personnel and individuals with evaluation responsibilities regarding the Marion County Instructional Evaluation System.
Goals:
a. The district staff charged with oversite of the evaluation system will fully inform individuals with evaluation responsibilities on the proper use of the Marion County Instructional Evaluation System evaluation criteria and procedures.
b. The district staff charged with oversite of the evaluation system will fully inform instructional personnel of the criteria, data sources, methodologies, and evaluation procedures associated with the Marion County Instructional Evaluation System.
c. Individuals with evaluation responsibilities will conduct an evaluation overview for all instructional personnel, including the evaluation process, position-appropriate rubrics, and site-based evaluation procedures.
