PL-Reading 40 (Reading Renewal) (Instructional) Cycle 3: February 2 - April 10, 2026 (10 weeks)

Educators will develop the use of explicit, systematic, and sequential approaches to reading instruction, developing phonemic awareness, and implementing multisensory intervention strategies, per the requirement of the State Rule 6A-4.0051.

Reading 40 is designed for educators who require 40 reading renewal points to be earned and hold certification in any of the subjects listed below:
•Elementary Education K-6
•Elementary Education 1-6
•Prekindergarten/Primary Education (PreK-Grade 3)
•Primary Education (K - Grade 3)
•English 1-6
•Middle Grades English 5-9
•English 6-12
•Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum 5-9

•Reading Endorsement
•ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) K-12
•Exceptional Student Education K-12
