Description

This professional learning series provides gifted educators with evidence-based strategies to identify, understand, and reverse underachievement in gifted students. Drawing on Del Siegle’s The Underachieving Gifted Child and CEC-TAG resources, participants will explore ways to enhance student motivation, self-efficacy, and goal setting by focusing on four key traits: belief in skills, expectation of success, meaningful engagement, and realistic goal implementation. Through interactive sessions and collaborative discussions, educators will develop practical tools to support student growth, build trust, and foster self-regulation.
