Description

This course will be on-going throughout the 25-26 SY. We will begin the year with and overview of 24-25 school data and basic principles of Cambridge highlighting the Cambridge Attributes and Global Perspectives. Course work will continue on each Early Release day for the 25-26 SY. Participants will examine what it means to be a Cambridge school, the Cambridge Learner Attributes, and how BEST Benchmarks and Cambridge standards intertwine to support and enhance student success. The sessions will feature the integration of Cambridge learner attributes in every lesson. Teachers will receive coaching in Cambridge instructional methods highlighting Global Perspective course. The learner sessions will be on-going throughout the 25-26 school year on early release days. Sessions will be facilitated by a combination Cambridge teacher leads.

This course provides a focused overview of Florida’s K–12 statewide assessments, including FAST, B.E.S.T. EOCs, Science/Social Studies tests, and district benchmark assessment/DPMAs. Designed for test proctors, it emphasizes secure testing procedures, statutory requirements, and compliance with Florida Department of Education and Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) guidelines. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to ensure proper test administration and maintain the integrity of the testing environment.
