PL-Clinical Education: 2023-2024 (Invitation Only - Instructional Staff) Follow Up Assignments: June 2023-June 2024

Participants will build their knowledge in the following four essential skills of Clinical Education: applying a growth mindset to their instructional practice, conducting content planning conferences, becoming expert observers of teaching and diagnosticians of student learning, and providing evidence-based, non-evaluative feedback.  Participants will engage in discussion, application, and reflection experiences that encompass these four essential skills.  Upon completion of the training and submission of the artifacts for each essential skill following the training, participants will be provided a district Clinical Education certificate that is valid for five years.  Clinical Education is required for all site-based instructional coaches, Content Area Specialists, Instructional Talent Developers (ITD), Lead Instructional Talent Developers, Aspiring Administrators, and Cooperating Teachers who supervise student interns.
