PL-Great Beginnings: New Hire Orientation: 2023-2024 (New Instructional Hires) Day 1 & 2: January 22 & 29 - 4:30-6:00pm @ MTI

All Instructional and Non-Instructional Personnel new to MCPS are invited to attend MCPS' Great Beginnings Event to welcome and onboard new staff members. Day 1, Instructional and Non-Instructional Personnel will engage in hands-on learning focused on the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs): The Learning Environment. Participants will learn the importance of how the learning environment impacts student success through the 5 C's: Culture, Community, Consistency, Classroom Management, and Communication. Day 2 Instructional employees will partake in numerous breakout sessions that will prepare instructional staff in various areas of the curriculum: ESE, ESOL, Technology, and Elementary/Secondary/Career Technical Education Curriculum.
