PL-Reading 40: 2023-2024 (Instructional) Spring Cycle: January-April (10 weeks)

The purpose of Reading 40 is to develop educators, who require 40 reading renewal points to be earned and hold certification in any of the subjects listed below, with the use of explicit, systematic, and sequential approaches to reading instruction, developing phonemic awareness, and implementing multisensory intervention strategies.
Elementary Education K-6 and Elementary Education 1-6
Prekindergarten/Primary Education (PreKindergarten - Grade 3) and Primary Education (Kindergarten - Grade 3)
English 6-12 and Middle Grades English 5-9
Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum 5-9
Reading K-12 and Reading Endorsement
ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) K12 and Exceptional Student Education K-12
